Mayor of Myrtle Beach is the next to endorse Marco Rubio for President and his supporters are not sitting in silence.

Marco Rubio seems to have recovered from his performance in New Hampshire and is ready to take on Cruz and Trump.  John Rhodes joins SC Senator Tim Scott in his support for Rubio, stating:

“After listening to Marco Rubio yesterday, I am convinced he is the right choice to lead our party into the general election. Marco bridges the gap between older voters and the next generation. I’ve never seen so many 18 year olds from Myrtle Beach High School so fired up about a Republican presidential candidate. Their excitement stems from Marco’s talent for communicating our shared conservative principles in a manner that connects with voters on a human level. Terri and I are proud to endorse Marco because he is a strong conservative and the only candidate who can unite Republicans while attracting new voters to our cause.”

Young people can look at a man like Marco Rubio and see youth, intelligence, and see conservative principles as the right direction for the nation. Too often liberals have been able to capture the youth vote based on demonizzation of Republicans and conservative thought.

Set to join him is Knox White, the mayor of Greenville, SC, who will be meeting with Rubio prior to a rally the presidential candidate is hosting at the Greenville airport. The two mayors are of course following Tim Scott, who endorsed Marco Rubio before his arrival to the Palmetto state.

The Senator had this to say.

Despite the shocking turn out of New Hampshire Marco Rubio took responsibility and promised to do right by his supporters. Several former candidates have also endorsed him including Bobby Jindal and Rick Santorum.  As TPM Reported, several people including Jindal, Santorum and the president of the National Right to Life Committee Carol Tobias stood with Rubio.  All three praised Rubio as a champion of life.

The attack itself, from Cruz’s own words, was in regards to a “spending bill” which included Planned Parenthood. Thus, Cruz claimed that the Senator from Florida had a weak record on the subject of abortion. Rubio has spoken at length about what he plans to do about life and understands the complexity of the issue. Seeing both sides in an argument, no matter your view point is a great asset to have as a president. It allows one to understand the rational behind an opinion and justification for it. Rubio is pro-life, but sees where liberals are coming from on the subject.

The debate tonight, featuring Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Bush, Kasich and the barely holding on Ben Carson will air tonight on CBS at 2100 EST time. All eyes will be on Rubio to see if he can bring something new to the table after a less than stellar performance at the previous one. Rubio is a man who has proven that he learns form his mistakes and the people of South Carolina are not easy swayed away from him.

Marco Rubio continues to shine and traveled with Senator Tim Scott to Washington DC to vote on an important sanction bill against North Korea, putting to doubt any claims that he has neglected his duties as Senator.

Hopefully this debate can assist undecided voters, or those debating between Cruz and Rubio to pick Rubio, the strong conservative, who stands by the people and the constitution, who knows the limits of pesidential power, who can crush any Democratic candidate, and who can turn America around from the downhill spiral Barack Obama has put it on.
