NAME AND ADDRESS REDACTED
US Representative Josh Gottheimer
Newton District Office
93 Spring Street, Suite 408
Newton, NJ 07860

April 20, 2020
Dear Congressman Gotheimer:

I received your response email to my most recent letter and am beyond shocked at your lack of care and concern to address the base issue put forth in my letter. As usual, you have ignored the main concern and slid right back into your own selfish agendas with side notes on how wonderful you are. I know about the Cares Act and the money that has already been allotted for individual Americans etc. I’m aware of the difficulties with the economy, how hard you’re working to correct certain problems and the overall concerns of the virus. I want to thank you for all of that. I know you’ve been working hard to help this situation but honestly, you’re not hitting the nail on the head. That’s not what I was addressing and you know it!

I implore you and your colleagues in Congress to stop using the virus as a step off platform to get other things passed that are NOT essential! Come on!

You elitists have no idea how the majority of Americans live financially. You’re in your own little private world of insensitivity. Step out of your safety net and try; just try to imagine not knowing where your next meal is coming from because you have no job, no business to run and a family of four to feed! Then try to imagine that there’s little hope on the horizon from the people you’ve HIRED to step up to the plate and help you in just this kind of emergency!

Your response is nonsense! You are explaining to me what congress did but you left out that the PPP is out of money. (Paycheck Protection Program for those who don’t know who read this on the website or in the paper)

You and your party led by The Honorable Nancy Pelosi refused to increase the fund for small business. Shame on you and shame on your Leader!! Disgraceful is not a strong enough word. And please stop showing off your mansions and refrigerators full of food on national TV when so many in our country are going to bed hungry. I speak of your friend, Nancy Pelosi on the news. Sickening and it sure screams selfish and insensitive. Are you all that ignorant of what’s really going on here? If not then take a stand against this lack of common sense. PLEASE!

Why don’t you and all of Congress and the US Senate give up your pay until the last COVID-19 case is gone? I am serious! Come down off your high horse and have some compassion – REAL compassion! What’s the old saying? Put your money where your mouth is!

You’ve become so uncompromising over the past several years and that’s awful on its own; but to be so stubborn and insensitive to the needs of the American people during a very serious potentially life threatening pandemic is disgusting!! There’s very little respect left for you!

Very Truly Yours,

xxxx

Reader’s note
Very well put, sadly it has fallen on deaf ears! They are so caught up with trying to stay in power they could not give a good crap what truly is happening. Millions have been spent/promised to non essential expenditures and that includes there salaries.

Vote the whole lot out of office, term limits! Never happen Washington is run by lawyers that could not make a living in there own business and now they are running the PIGGEY bank for there own enrichment under the guise of representing the people that gave them there job.

I Had a Dream: State of the Union Reaction

By |2020-02-14T19:36:50+00:00February 14th, 2020|Creative, House & Senate, Opinion|

A letter from one of our readers.

Marsha and I don’t have access to TV, so I get most of my news from radio and reading, and occasionally I’ll watch something online. I wanted to both hear and see the president’s State of the Union Address, so I went online Wednesday morning 2-4 am for the address on YouTube. When Trump entered, I enjoyed watching Nancy Bela Lugosi extend her hand and have to pull it back when no handshake was offered. I wish there had been a microphone on her to catch the moronic remarks she made to Mike Pence throughout the address with that stupid smile on her simpleton face. And when she ripped up the pages of the address, she only reaffirmed what a no-class dumb-ass broad she is without the slightest grasp of history being made – like the rest of the Washington Swamp, including the lamestream media. It was hilarious to watch the smug puss-face Democrats refuse to stand or even applaud as the Republicans and most of the audience stood again and again to give frequent standing ovations. It was especially satisfying to see Rush Limbaugh honored as part of the address – up yours, Upchuck Schumer! I thought the address was excellent, and at this point I have no doubt Trump will be reelected with a clear majority of both the popular vote and the Electoral College vote. In view of the sorry assortment of Democrat candidates, I wouldn’t be surprised if he sweeps every state.

I went to bed a little after 4 am, and I had a dream. I dreamed I climbed up the side of a high wooden bridge, and when I climbed over the railing, who was there but President Trump and his entourage. He greeted me cordially and invited me to come along and join him for a drink, which I did. A moment later we were sitting at a table, the president to my right. He was talking (I don’t recall about what), and at one point I responded to something he said, and he shot me a stern side glance. I immediately realized I had interrupted him, and I said, “Oh, I guess you’re not used to being interrupted.” He held his glare for a moment, then broke into a broad grin and patted my hand. “No, I’m not,” he said, “but maybe I should be.” Then he let out a big laugh.

What that means, I have no idea. Perhaps it has something to do with Joel 2:28 and Acts 2:17. Or perhaps it only means I shouldn’t eat spicy food before bedtime. Who knows?

Top 10 Reasons to Vote Democrat

By |2020-01-29T23:37:13+00:00January 29th, 2020|Democratic Candidates, Opinion|

#10. I vote Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I’ve decided to marry my German Shepherd.

#9. I vote Democrat because I believe oil companies’ profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene, but the government taxing the same gallon at 15% isn’t.

#8. I vote Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

#7. I vote Democrat because Freedom of Speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

#6. I vote Democrat because I’m way too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers and thieves. I am also thankful that we have a 911 service that get police to your home in order to identify your body after a home invasion.

#5. I vote Democrat because I’m not concerned about millions of babies being aborted so long as we keep all death row inmates alive and comfy.

#4. I vote Democrat because I think illegal aliens have a right to free health care, education, and Social Security benefits, and we should take away Social Security from those who paid into it.

#3. I vote Democrat because I believe that businesses should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as the Democrat Party sees fit.

#2. I vote Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters.

…And the #1 reason I vote Democrat is because I think it’s better to pay $billions$ for oil to people who hate us, but not drill our own because it might upset some endangered beetle, gopher or fish here in America. We don’t care about the beetles, gophers or fish in those other countries.

The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits.

Thoughts from a Hipster Coffee Shop… – Alyssa Ahlgren

Alyssa Ahlgren

April 6, 2019

I’m sitting in a small coffee shop near Nokomis trying to think of what to write about. I scroll through my newsfeed on my phone looking at the latest headlines of Democratic candidates calling for policies to “fix” the so-called injustices of capitalism. I put my phone down and continue to look around. I see people talking freely, working on their MacBook’s, ordering food they get in an instant, seeing cars go by outside, and it dawned on me. We live in the most privileged time in the most prosperous nation and we’ve become completely blind to it.

Vehicles, food, technology, freedom to associate with whom we choose. These things are so ingrained in our American way of life we don’t give them a second thought. We are so well off here in the United States that our poverty line begins 31 times above the global average. Thirty. One. Times. Virtually no one in the United States is considered poor by global standards. Yet, in a time where we can order a product off Amazon with one click and have it at our doorstep the next day, we are unappreciative, unsatisfied, and ungrateful.

Our unappreciation is evident as the popularity of socialist policies among my generation continues to grow. Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently said to Newsweek talking about the millennial generation, “An entire generation, which is now becoming one of the largest electorates in America, came of age and never saw American prosperity.”

Never saw American prosperity. Let that sink in. When I first read that statement, I thought to myself, that was quite literally the most entitled and factually illiterate thing I’ve ever heard in my 26 years on this earth. Now, I’m not attributing Miss Ocasio-Cortez’s words to outright dishonesty. I do think she whole-heartedly believes the words she said to be true. Many young people agree with her, which is entirely misguided. My generation is being indoctrinated by a mainstream narrative to actually believe we have never seen prosperity. I know this first hand, I went to college, let’s just say I didn’t have the popular opinion, but I digress.

Let me lay down some universal truths really quick. The United States of America has lifted more people out of abject poverty, spread more freedom and democracy, and has created more innovation in technology and medicine than any other nation in human history. Not only that but our citizenry continually breaks world records with charitable donations, the rags to riches story is not only possible in America but not uncommon, we have the strongest purchasing power on earth, and we encompass 25% of the world’s GDP. The list goes on. However, these universal truths don’t matter. We are told that income inequality is an existential crisis (even though this is not an indicator of prosperity, some of the poorest countries in the world have low-income inequality), we are told that we are oppressed by capitalism (even though it’s brought about more freedom and wealth to the most people than any other system in world history), we are told that the only way we will acquire the benefits of true prosperity is through socialism and centralization of federal power (even though history has proven time and again this only brings tyranny and suffering).

Why then, with all of the overwhelming evidence around us, evidence that I can even see sitting at a coffee shop, do we not view this as prosperity? We have people who are dying to get into our country. People around the world destitute and truly impoverished. Yet, we have a young generation convinced they’ve never seen prosperity, and as a result, elect politicians dead set on taking steps towards abolishing capitalism. Why? The answer is this, my generation has ONLY seen prosperity. We have no contrast. We didn’t live in the great depression, or live through two world wars, or see the rise and fall of socialism and communism. We don’t know what it’s like not to live without the internet, without cars, without smartphones. We don’t have a lack of prosperity problem. We have an entitlement problem, an ungratefulness problem, and it’s spreading like a plague.

With the current political climate giving rise to the misguided idea of a socialist utopia, will we see the light? Or will we have to lose it all to realize that what we have now is true prosperity? Destroying the free market will undo what millions of people have died to achieve.

My generation is becoming the largest voting bloc in the country. We have an opportunity to continue to propel us forward with the gifts capitalism and democracy has given us. The other option is that we can fall into the trap of entitlement and relapse into restrictive socialist destitution. The choice doesn’t seem too hard, does it?

How Do Civil Wars Happen – Daniel Greenfield

By |2020-01-29T17:37:07+00:00June 3rd, 2019|Culture Wars, History, Opinion|

Two or more sides disagree on who runs the country. And they can’t
settle the question through elections because they don’t even agree
that elections are how you decide who’s in charge. That’s the basic
issue here. Who decides who runs the country? When you hate each other
but accept the election results, you have a country. When you stop
accepting election results, you have a countdown to a civil war.

The Mueller investigation is about removing President Trump from
office and overturning the results of an election. We all know that.
But it’s not the first time they’ve done this. The first time a
Republican president was elected this century, they said he didn’t
really win. The Supreme Court gave him the election. There’s a pattern
here.

What do sure odds of the Democrats rejecting the next Republican
president really mean? It means they don’t accept the results of any
election that they don’t win. It means they don’t believe that
transfers of power in this country are determined by elections. That’s
a civil war.

There’s no shooting. At least not unless you count the attempt to kill
a bunch of Republicans at a charity baseball game practice. But the
Democrats have rejected our system of government.

This isn’t dissent. It’s not disagreement You can hate the other
party. You can think they’re the worst thing that ever happened to the
country. But then you work harder to win the next election. When you
consistently reject the results of elections that you don’t win, what
you want is a dictatorship.

Your very own dictatorship.

The only legitimate exercise of power in this country, according to
Democrats, is its own. Whenever Republicans exercise power, it’s
inherently illegitimate. The Democrats lost Congress. They lost the
White House. So what did they do? They began trying to run the country
through Federal judges and bureaucrats. Every time that a Federal
judge issues an order saying that the President of the United States
can’t scratch his own back without his say so, that’s the civil war.

Our system of government is based on the constitution, but that’s not
the system that runs this country. The Democrat’s system is that any
part of government that it runs gets total and unlimited power over
the country.

If the Democrats are in the White House, then the president can do
anything. And I mean anything. He can have his own amnesty for illegal
aliens. He can fine you for not having health insurance. He can use
the IRS as his own police force and imprison citizens who speak
against him. He can provide guns and money (Fast and Furious) (Iran
nuclear deal) to other countries to support his own agenda, and watch
while one of America’s Ambassador’s is dragged through the streets and
murdered doing nothing to aid our citizens. His power is unlimited.
He’s a dictator.

But when Republicans get into the White House, suddenly the President
can’t do anything. He isn’t even allowed to undo the illegal alien
amnesty that his predecessor illegally invented. A Democrat in the
White House has ‘discretion’ to completely decide every aspect of
immigration policy. A Republican doesn’t even have the ‘discretion’ to
reverse him. That’s how the game is played That’s how our country is
run. Sad but true, although the left hasn’t yet won that particular
fight.

When a Democrat is in the White House, states aren’t even allowed to
enforce immigration law. But when a Republican is in the White House,
states can create their own immigration laws. Under Obama, a state
wasn’t allowed to go to the bathroom without asking permission. But
under Trump, Jerry Brown can go around saying that California is an
independent republic and sign treaties with other countries. The
Constitution has something to say about that.

Whether it’s Federal or State, Executive, Legislative or Judiciary,
the left moves power around to run the country. If it controls an
institution, then that institution is suddenly the supreme power in
the land. This is what I call a moving dictatorship.

Donald Trump has caused the Shadow Government to come out of hiding:
Professional government is a guild. Like medieval guilds. You can’t
serve in if you’re not a member. If you haven’t been indoctrinated
into its arcane rituals. If you aren’t in the club. And Trump isn’t in
the club. He brought in a bunch of people who aren’t in the club with
him.

Now we’re seeing what the pros do when amateurs try to walk in on
them. They spy on them, they investigate them and they send them to
jail. They use the tools of power to bring them down.

That’s not a free country.

It’s not a free country when FBI agents who support Hillary take out
an ‘insurance policy’ against Trump winning the election. It’s not a
free country when Obama officials engage in massive unmasking of the
opposition. It’s not a free country when the media responds to the
other guy winning by trying to ban the conservative media that
supported him from social media. It’s not a free country when all of
the above collude together to overturn an election because the guy who
wasn’t supposed to win did.

Have no doubt, we’re in a civil war between conservative volunteer
government and a leftist Democrat professional government.

Make sure you vote on every Election day!

School Prayer Proposal

By |2019-05-26T01:37:44+00:00May 20th, 2019|Opinion|

With Trump as President, we might be able to get this passed. Let’s send it across the country.

Will I Get Three Replies?

I’m sending this to a variety of friends & family to see what kind of opinions this might bring forth.

SOME STATES (Maryland, Michigan & Arizona) ARE ALLOWING MUSLIM STUDENTS TO PRAY DURING SCHOOL HOURS.

IF THEY ALLOW THAT, THEN WE SHOULD BRING BACK OUR FLAGS INTO THE CLASSROOMS AND ALLOW OTHERS TO PRAY TOO! TIME FOR THE CHRISTIANS TO SPEAK UP & DEMAND THEIR RIGHTS.

When we get 100,000,000, that’s one hundred million, willing Christians to BOND together, voice their concerns and vote, we can take back Americawith God’s help.

Become one of the One hundred million. Then let’s get 200 million. It can be done just by sending this email to your friends.

Do the math. It only takes a single willing heart and a fed-up SOUL. God Bless America and Shine your light on Her!

In 1952 President Truman established one day a year as a “National Day of Prayer.”

In 1988 President Reagan designated the firstThursday in May of each year as The National Day of Prayer.

In June 2007, then Presidential Candidate Barack Obama declared that the USA “Was no longer a Christian nation.”

In May 2009 President Obama dismissed our 21st annual National Day of Prayer ceremony at the White House under the ruse of “not wanting to offend anyone.”

Sept. 25, 2009, a Muslim Prayer Day was held on the West front of the U.S. Capitol Building, the site where U.S. Presidents have been inaugurated since 1981. There were over 50,000 Muslims in D.C. that day President Obama dismissed our National Day of Prayer and now it is okay for an event at our capitol for Islamists?

I for one was offended. But wait, it did not stop!!!

February 17-19, 2015, a Muslim prayer was recited at the start of the second day of the White House summit on “Countering Violent Extremism,” but no other religious text was presented during the portion of the event that was open to the press. Imam Sheikh Sa’ad Musse Roble, president of the World Peace Organization in Minneapolis, Minn., recited a “verse from the Quran” following remarks by Obama administration officials and Democrat members of Congress.

Former President Obama encouraged schools to teach the Quran for extra credit, while at the same time, we cannot even talk about the Bible, God, pray, or salute the American Flag.

The direction this country was headed should strike fear in the heart of every Christian.

How refreshing and beautiful our First Lady Melania Trump was in Melbourne, Florida on February 18, 2017. Instead of the normal “pumping up” of the crowd, Melania chose to start the rally off with the Lord’s Prayer. It sounded more like the start of a football game after the National Anthem rather than what we would expect to hear after a prayer.

Make a “joyful noise unto the LORD thy GOD!” The “sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity” of Madeline Murray O’Hair and ACLU efforts in 1962, “School Prayer was removed from the U.S. public education system by slowly changing the meaning of the First Amendment through a number of court cases over several court cases should be confronted and reversed.

Send this to ten people, or even one hundred and ten, and send it to the person who sent it to you! To let them know that indeed, it was sent out to many more.

An Anecdote on Government

By |2019-05-20T19:26:20+00:00May 20th, 2019|Opinion|

A cowboy named Bud was overseeing his herd in a remote mountainous pasture in Montana when suddenly a brand-new BMW advanced toward him out of a cloud of dust.

The driver, a young man in a Brioni® suit, Gucci® shoes, RayBan® sunglasses and YSL® tie, leaned out the window and asked the cowboy, “If I tell you exactly how many cows and calves you have in your herd, will you give me a calf?”
Bud looks at the man, who obviously is a yuppie, then looks at his peacefully grazing herd and calmly answers, “Sure, why not?”

The yuppie parks his car, whips out his Dell® notebook computer, connects it to his Cingular RAZR V3® cell phone, and surfs to a NASA page on the Internet, where he calls up a GPS satellite to get an exact fix on his location which he then feeds to another NASA satellite that scans the area in an ultra-high-resolution photo.

The young man then opens the digital photo in Adobe Photoshop® and exports it to an image processing facility in Hamburg, Germany …Within seconds, he receives an email on his Palm Pilot® that the image has been processed and the data stored. He then accesses an MS-SQL® database through an ODBC connected Excel® spreadsheet with email on his Blackberry® and, after a few minutes, receives a response.

Finally, he prints out a full-color, 150-page report on his hi-tech, miniaturized HP LaserJet® printer, turns to the cowboy and says, “You have exactly 1,586 cows and calves.”

“That’s right. Well, I guess you can take one of my calves,” says Bud.

He watches the young man select one of the animals and looks on with amusement as the young man stuffs it into the trunk of his car.

Then Bud says to the young man, “Hey, if I can tell you exactly what your business is, will you give me back my calf?”
The young man thinks about it for a second and then says, “Okay, why not?”

“You’re a Congressman for the U.S. Government”, says Bud.

“Wow! That’s correct,” says the yuppie, “but how did you guess that?”

“No guessing required.” answered the cowboy. “You showed up here even though nobody called you; you want to get paid for an answer I already knew, to a question I never asked. You used millions of dollars worth of equipment trying to show me how much smarter than me you are; and you don’t know a thing about how working people make a living – or about cows, for that matter.

This is a herd of sheep. Now give me back my dog.
AND THAT FOLKS IS WHAT THE PROBLEM IS ALL ABOUT

To Kill an American

By |2018-09-25T23:04:04+00:00September 25th, 2018|International, Islam, Opinion|

You probably missed this in the rush of news, but there was actually a report that someone in Pakistan had published in a newspaper, an offer of a reward to anyone who killed an American; any American.

So an Australian dentist wrote an editorial the following day to let everyone know what an American is. So they would know when they found one. (Good one, mate!!!!)

‘An American is English, or French, or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish , Polish, Russian or Greek. An American may also be Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani or Afghan.

An American may also be a Comanche, Cherokee, Osage, Blackfoot, Navaho, Apache, Seminole or one of the many other tribes known as native Americans.

An American is Christian, or he could be Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim. In fact, there are more Muslims in America than in Afghanistan . The only difference is that in America they are free to worship as each of them chooses.

An American is also free to believe in no religion…… For that he will answer only to God, not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the government and for God.

An American lives in the most prosperous land in the history of the world.
The root of that prosperity can be found in the Declaration of Independence , which recognizes the God-given right of each person to the pursuit of happiness.

An American is generous. Americans have helped out just about every other nation in the world in their time of need, never asking a thing in return……..

When Afghanistan was overrun by the Soviet army 20 years ago, Americans came with arms and supplies to enable the people to win back their country!

As of the morning of September 11, Americans had given more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan ..
The national symbol of America , The Statue of Liberty , welcomes your tired and your poor, the wretched refuse of your teeming shores, the homeless, tempest tossed. These, in fact, are the people who built America .

Some of them were working in the Twin Towers the morning of September 11 , 2001 earning a better life for their families. It’s been told that the World Trade Center victims were from at least 30 different countries, cultures, and first languages, including those that aided and abetted the terrorists.

So you can try to kill an American if you must.. Hitler did. So did General Tojo , and Stalin, and Mao Tse-Tung, and other bloodthirsty tyrants in the world. But, in doing so you would just be killing yourself . Because Americans are not a particular people from a particular place. They are the embodiment of the human spirit of freedom. Everyone who holds to that spirit, everywhere, is an American.

Living in a Military Town

By |2018-08-22T21:18:30+00:00August 22nd, 2018|Lifestyle, Opinion|

Author Anonymous,

Eglin Joint Base Command located near Ft. Walton, Florida, is presently the largest Military Complex in the world and encompasses a large contingent of Air Force units, Naval Warfare units, and the 7th Army Special Forces and 6th Army Rangers.

My home is exactly 5 miles outside the main gate of Eglin AFB.

Most folks in the USA don’t live in a Military Town, with lots of guys in uniform walking the streets and jets overhead daily. They go on with their lives unaware of what a Military Town is all about. And that’s OK… but I want to share with you what it’s like to live in a Military Town. We see guys in uniform all the time, we have state of the art, high-performance aircraft in the air nearby all day long. We hear the SOUND OF FREEDOM when an F-22 or F-35 streaks over the house… and we read in the local paper, some times daily, but at least weekly, of the loss of one of our own in combat in the Middle East.

And that is what brings me to the reason for this email.

Staff Sergeant Mark DeAlencar was 37 years old, had a family and was a Green Beret with the 7th Army Special Forces stationed here in the Fort Walton area. He was killed on April 8, 201 8 , while fighting Islamic State in eastern Afghanistan. In January of this year, he was deployed for the second time to Afghanistan. He promised his adopted daughter, Octavia, that he would be home for her High School Graduation. He didn’t make it. But she went to graduation anyway. And in the audience were eighty (80) US 7th Armed Special Forces soldiers from her dad’s unit in full Parade Dress Uniform. Additionally, they brought THEIR FAMILIES to be with them, as well.

And as Octavia ascended the steps to the stage to receive her diploma THEY ALL SILENTLY STOOD UP. And when she was presented her diploma they ALL CHEERED, CLAPPED, WHISTLED… and YES, CRIED. Everyone in attendance then stood up and cried and cheered. Octavia had graduated and yes she had lost her Dad… but she had 80 other DADS to stand there with her and take his place. I just wanted to share this moment with you… and remind you that THIS IS WHAT IT’S LIKE TO LIVE IN A MILITARY TOWN. This is the real America we all love… and I’m proud to be part of it. May God bless our men in uniform and their families who give so much.

(Take a second to pass this along to someone you know. It’s the least we can do for Octavia and SSgt Mark DeAlencar, 7th Special Forces, United States Army.)

An Ode To America, from Romania

By |2018-08-22T21:09:58+00:00August 22nd, 2018|International, Opinion|

We rarely get a chance to see another country’s editorial about the USA. Read this excerpt from a Romanian Newspaper. The article was written by Mr. Cornel Nistorescu and published under the title ‘C’ntarea Americii, meaning ‘Ode ToAmerica ‘) in the Romanian newspaper Evenimentulzilei ‘The Daily Event’ or ‘News of the Day’.

~An Ode to America ~

Why are Americans so united? They would not resemble one another even if you painted them all one color! They speak all the languages of the world and form an astonishing mixture of civilizations and religious beliefs.

On 9/ll, the American tragedy turned three hundred million people into a hand put on the heart. Nobody rushed to accuse the White House, the Army, or the Secret Service that they are only a bunch of losers. Nobody rushed to empty their bank accounts. Nobody rushed out onto the streets nearby to gape about.

Instead the Americans volunteered to donate blood and to give a helping hand.

After the first moments of panic, they raised their flag over the smoking ruins, putting on T-shirts, caps and ties in the colors of the national flag. They placed flags on buildings and cars as if in every place and on every car a government official or the president was passing. On every occasion, they started singing: ‘God Bless America !’

I watched the live broadcast and rerun after rerun for hours listening to the story of the guy who went down one hundred floors with a woman in a wheelchair without knowing who she was, or of the Californian hockey player, who gave his life fighting with the terrorists and prevented the plane from hitting a target that could have killed other hundreds or thousands of people.

How on earth were they able to respond united as one human being? Imperceptibly, with every word and musical note, the memory of some turned into a modern myth of tragic heroes. And with every phone call, millions and millions of dollars were put into collection aimed at rewarding not a man or a family, but a spirit, which no money can buy. What on earth unites the Americans in such a way? Their land? Their history? Their economic Power? Money? I tried for hours to find an answer, humming songs and murmuring phrases with the risk of sounding commonplace, I thought things over, I reached but only one conclusion… Only freedom can work such miracles. .
By Cornel Nistorescu

It took a person on the outside – looking in – to see what we take for granted! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

May I add FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST AS LORD AND SAVIOR! ONLY Yahweh the God of Abraham can perform true miracles
